About Me...
|
I am originally from Texas, but finished high school in Mississippi. I then received a Bachelor's of Arts degree from Mississippi College, with a double major in English/ Secondary Education. I taught ELA for a few years before deciding to move to Memphis, TN to get a Master's degree. Once there, I received my Master's of Science degree in Professional School Counseling. I worked as a school counselor for several years before deciding to take a break to raise my family. My husband and I had two beautiful daughters. We then decided to move to the triangle area where I worked at Ligon Middle School as an intervention teacher. I am now happy to be at Mills Park Middle School as a 7th grade counselor. In my free time, I enjoy traveling internationally, trying new restaurants, zip lining, and hiking.
